The Sony Ericsson C902 is a quad band GSM camera phone. When slide opened, the handset reveals its 5 megapixel autofocus camera. The phone’s light dramatically change from white to blue when it is set into camera mode. The handset’s eight camera touch keys magically come to life to let the user choose between various camera options like Face Detection and Photo Flash. The device is equipped with latest camera technology.

The autofocus and face detection features o f the C902 let the user focus on subject of the photo and not its background. The handset’s BestPic feature allows the users to take nine photos in quick succession. The user can choose best image among them all and delete the rest. Its x-Pict application allows users to create their own multi-media slide show and share the same with their friends.

The device comes with 160 MB of internal memory, which is large enough to store 100 full resolution photographs. The phone has a 2 inches, 256K color TFT display that has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Its WAP 2.0 NetFront internet browser comes with RSS feed that shows web pages in their true formats. The device uses a standard Li-ion battery that has an amazing talk time of up to 9 hours and a standby time of up to 400 hours.

The C902’s phone book can store up to 1000 contacts. Its phone book has 20 fields for each entry wherein users can store other relevant information of contacts like their email ID and street address. The phone weighs 107 gm and it comes loaded with a few interesting Java games.

The C902 belongs to CyberShot range of camera phones of Sony Ericsson. The company’s Head of Imaging Marketing, Sven Totté said that the C902 features best –in-class picture quality. The Sony Ericsson C902 will be available in Swift Black and Luscious Red colors in selected markets from second quarter of 2008.
