T-Mobile Lands Sony Ericsson Equinox

T-Mobile, the 4th largest carrier in United States, today announced the Sony Ericsson Equinox flip style phone with pulsating notifications and light effects. The effects and colors of the pulsating notifications are customizable by users to suit their needs. For example, user could use different colors / effects for different callers, and once the user had calls or missed calls, he/she would know who is calling right away. Besides that, another cool feature of the Equinox phone is its Gesture Control that allows users to control the phone using hand gesture, such as muting an incoming call or snoozing the alarm by simply sweeping a hand over the phone.

“With a host of dynamic features, the Equinox is a 3G phone that reflects the mood of each individual user,” said Karen Morris, Sony Ericsson’s vice president of marketing.
Features of the Sony Ericsson Equinox include a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, 3G connectivity, MP3 music player, FM Radio, A-GPS, and Stereo Bluetooth. The phone will be available at T-Mobile stores on October 28.
