Sharp has developed a technology that Paris Hilton would hope to have before her “secret photos” in her cell phone were stolen.

What Sharp has developed is the VGA touchscreen that has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and can run at 30 frames per second. A built in image sensor has the power to read and authenticate your finger prints.

Whether or not Paris’s photos were stolen because of the security leak of SideKick or T-Mobile network, the needs of protecting our data in cellular phone becomes increasingly important and hopefully the Sharp’s touchscreen technology will be integrated into cellular phone pretty soon.
