The 100th Millions Cellular Phone with Symbian OS was Sold

Symbian, the cell phone OS manufacturer in London, UK announced that they have passed 100 millions cellular phones with Symbian OS (operating system) sold milestone.
The main reason that make Symbian OS a big success is because the big giant cell phone maker, Nokia makes most of her cell phoens comes with Symbian Series60 OS. According to spokeman of Symbian, currently there are about 250 wireless carriers in the world that are retailing cellular phones that are powered by Symbian OS.
It looks like Symbian is going to grow strong in cell phone OS industry. We will see what techniques Microsoft will use to kick Symbian out of the market.
