Twitter / Facebook Phones Announced by INQ

INQ today announced two new cell phones called INQ Chat and INQ Mini for social networking addicts. INQ called the phones “Facebook phone”. These news phones have built-in social networking clients that automatically login user’s accounts when the phones are booted. Once user is logged in, the phone is always connected to Twitter, Facebook, Skype, instant messaging and other social networking tools.

Hardware specs of the phone include 3G, GPS, modem teethering, microSD memory slot for up to 8GB. The INQ Chat features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-MP digital camera with autofocus and a 2.4-inch LCD display. The INQ Mini, on the other hand, has a regular phone pad with a 2-MP digital camera, and a 2.2-inch LCD display.

According to INQ, they are currently working with Google to develop a native Gmail app that runs on the phones.
