Verizon Wireless Announces Its Latest Expansion Plan

Verizon Business is set to expand in the near future. Currently, Verizon serves 97% of Fortune 500 as well as many other U.S. government and state agencies. Verizon Business serves 2,700 cities and 150 countries and is also involved in more than 65 submarine cable systems. Offering more desirable services such as IP, Ethernet and managed services have helped them to grow to the point that they are at now, however, further expansion is inevitable with this kind of success.
This newest expansion will feature a strong focus on areas such as China, India, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Canada. They are also working on decreasing the time it takes to send and receive data as well increasing network capacity. This should work to improve users’ reliability on the network and the efficiency the users will experience with the cellular phones. This should prove especially useful to users in the more fast-paced countries such as China and India where they will be offered more advanced communication services via Verizon.
In addition to expanding their network, there will also be several new features that will enhance the service for new and existing customers, such as private IP deployment, converged packet architecture, submarine cables, optical global mesh, ultra long haul, deployment of ROADM technology and 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps technology.
The most important feature is the decrease in sending and receiving time that these new features will help to accomplish. In the business world, this can be the single most important piece of information when looking for a carrier.
