ZTE AD3700 broadband USB modem

Verizon Wireless today announced the ZTE AD3700 broadband USB modem. ZTE (Zhong Xing Telecommunication Equipment Company Limited) is China’s largest telecommunication equipment manufacturer. The ZTE AD3700 broadband modem allows users to access to all major networks, including Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO), Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) and High Speed Packet Access (HSPA)/Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS).

The AD3700 will be available for $79.99 after a $50.00 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement on a Mobile Broadband plan. It will hit Verizon Stores on August, 14 2009.
