I upgraded from the Alias 1 just yesterday. I have found things that I love about the Alias 2 and things that drive me crazy.

Those that drive me crazy include the fact that the black/white keys obscure the send and end buttons. They are no longer green and red and the keys are the same size as all others. The new phone is larger and bulkier, but is probably to accommodate the larger screen. I wish it came in more colors. Black is boring.

The camera is dramatically improved, but has no flash.

So far, my biggest grumble is that I now have to buy a new Bluetooth headset as my trusty (and only 6 month old) Motorola H680 isn’t compatible with Alias 2. So now I have to spend another $100 to buy another. Heaven knows if I can even find one that is. Huge HUGE grumble!

I recommend this phone for new users, but those considering an upgrade will have a big learning curve and possible compatibility issues. Beware.
