WiFi, Live TV on Continental Aircrafts

Continental Airlines is making big plans to provide premium entertainment to its passengers in a recent partnership with Live TV.
Thirty-six channels of live satellite broadcasts will be made available to all passengers on Continental’s Boeing 737 airplane.
While this service is included in airfare for first class fliers, economy class passengers will have to shell out an additional $6. Surely, those passengers won’t mind paying such a small fee to enjoy these perks.
WiFi will also be among the services provided to ensure “in-flight email and instant messaging”, according to a press release by Rick Cadden.
These products are presently undergoing testing by Continental, but services are expected to debut around January 2009.
