Targetting Office Lady (OL), DoCoMo releases the NEC N906iu flip phone that looks very alike to Samsung flip phones. The N906iu features a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, built-in MP3 digital music player, microSD memory expansion slot that supports up to 2GB of memory upgrade, 1-Seg high-definition TV support, E-mail, and Full internet browsing. The N906iu is only 12.99 mm wide, a little bit over half inch, making it very easy for ladies to carry around or slide it inside a bag.

The best selling point of this NEC phone is its built-in digital camera that has anti-shock and other camera features that you can only find in standalone digital cameras. So, although N906iu’s camera is only 3.2-megapixel, it is capable of taking sharper pictures than other 3.2-megapixel camera phones do.

Believe it or not, Big, the maker of disposable pen and razor, announces Big mobile phone! Bic keeps the same orange color scheme of its first Bic phone as its razor. The Bic phone is made by Alcatel, and comes with 10 minutes worth of credit and fully charged battery. Surprisingly, the phone has FM radio tuner and supports SMS messaging. The phone is set to launch in French and its suggested retailing price is 49 Euros.

The Motorola Vegas V20 was spotted at FCC website by our friends at phonearena.com. Apparently, the phone is going to be launched by Sprint, the struggling mobile phone carrier in the US. It is sad to say that the another struggling corporation, Motorola, continues its “copy-and-paste” product development style on the V20 phone, as you can see, the V20 phone looks just like Motorola RAZR / Motorola KRZR.

The features and specifications of the V20 include a 2.0-megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth connectivity, EV-DO network support, microSD memory expansion slot, and MP3 digital music player with dedicated music keys.

June 26, 2008 - Oppo, United States electronics manufacturer based in Mountain View, California, officially launch new candy-bar shaped mobile phone, Oppo A103, in China. Although you won’t see strong men, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, carry this Dopod A103 phone, the A103 has its own special target - young girls, who want something cool and cute.

It is hard to believe that Oppo classify the A103 as an entry-level phone, because it has built-in professional-class Wolfson WM8957 and YAHAMA chips that produce high-quality music output, making it one of the best MP3 music phones in the market right now. The preloaded music player software is OPLAYER 1.0, which is well-known for its simple menu and easy navigation. Users can find music tracks that they love quicker than other music players.

Besides that, the A103 phone has 256MB of memory space, enough to carry about 50 songs, but users can upgrade the memory with its built-in microSD memory expansion slot.

Other features of the A103 include a 2.0-megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth V2.0 support, and a big 2.4-inch 262K LCD screen (240 x 320 resolution).

The A103 phone is available in pink or purple color. There is no word that when this phone will arrive in United States.

As soon as LG announced the first mobile phone with 5-megapixel digital camera in 2007, we saw all other cell phone manufacturers jumped into 5-MP bandwagon. This time, it is Motorola, the struggling cell phone maker, officially releases MOTOZINE ZN5, the first Motorola mobile phone with 5-megapixel digital camera, in China.

Motorola partners with Kodak in developing the MOTOZINE ZN5. Hence, users are assured that this Motorola phone is capable of taking high-quality pictures that standalone camera does.

The MOTOZINE ZN5 features a 2.4-inch 262K TFT LCD screen (240 x 320 resolution) and is only 11.8 mm (0.46-inch) wide. That doesn’t make the MOTOZINE ZN5 the world’s slimmest phone, but as a 5-megapixel digital camera phone, the ZN5 is by far one of the slimmest 5-MP phones in the market.

Other features of the ZN5 include 350MB internal memory, a microSD memory expansion slot that supports up to 4GB of memory upgrade, WLAN network support, WiFi (802.11b/g) connectivity, MP3 music player (plays MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / eAAC+ / AMR NB / WAV / XMF / MIDI / WMA), and FM radio.
