THe Samsung Magnet only has Bluetooth 1.3, which only supports Bluetooth headsets, not other devices. In order to connect with other phones, you need to have a Bluetooth 2.0 capatible phone.
(I think my phone is one model newer than this forum: SGH-A257. Hope this question can still be answered....)
How the heck do I connect to Bluetooth with this phone??? It can't "find" my existing device (a little Plantronics 340 earbud), and I can't find a list of what devices ARE compatible with this phone. I read the posts for the A177, but I'm naively hoping that none of that applies to this model.... HELP!
You can email images from your phone to your computer.
1. Go to messaging and click Create Message, as if you're going to send a text message;
2. In the message box, click the center of your directional pad;
3. Follow the menu prompts to add a picture file;
4. Select Send To and then type your email address into the box.
You can find the directions on the Samsung Web site, at this URL. Just click the Support and Downloads tab, and then click the hotlinked text: "How To Transfer Pictures or Videos Between SGH-A177 and Computer"
Has USB 2.0. but only has Hands-Free profile. Must have FTP profile to transfer tones. Samsung has a USB transfer program on their site, thats what I use
the only damn bad thing about this fucking phone is the bluetooth dont fucking work which pisses me off. why the hell make a phone that the bluetooth dont work on it. honeslty. it sucks ass
I tried changing the bluetooth address on the device to sync with my computer, instead my computer is allowing me to sync with the phone. when i put the bluetooth address thats on the phone, i am able to sync pictures music contacts and everything
I have to agree with everyone else here. I consider the phone broken since it's not fully bluetooth compliant. What a piece of crap. Time to save up for a new iphone.
My phone is just a week old... this morning it says phone lock and I cant unlock it.... any suggestions... I took it 2 a att wireless store and they cant get it either.... PLEASE HELP!!!!
