Nokia E71 The phone camera does not work and in the Users Guide there is nothing to help.A black screen, picturing only a small video camera on the upper left side, appears with the following message: "Camera in use by another application".
Any ideas on how to solve the problem? Thanks.

I had the same problem, it disappeared just swithcing off and then back on the cell phone, it might work with yours too

you open ur cell phone ...........and open back camara then clean ...and fit again to there location.......camara working easily...try .....this solution is more efficient..

its due to some new apps you installed like nibuzz fring etc only way is restarting. . . .for the above apps this works. . . Ifnt uninstall de software via application manager

My nokia E71 has really a big problem. Whenever i try to use camera, it says " Unexpected Error, power off the device and restart."
I did that and it didnt work. I checked all my other applications like barcode scanner. Nothing is running.
But whenever i try to use camers a blank screen with a camera sign on left and with that message come on screen.
When i use my barcode scanner, it works, it means camera is working and problem is in software.

What's the use of this thread? Nobody answers any of the question... People just keep on complaining that they have the same issue... But never had a solution.. How about those users who does not have an option to send it back to Nokia and have it replaced... Like in a country where I am now... They don't offer replacement... And those units which are out of warranty? Do any of you have an idea how to fix it aside from sending to back to Nokia? Thanks a million in advance to the person who can answer this...

i already go to a nokia care service but fuck i need to pay first before they check my E71 phone and if they don't see any problems my money is nonrefundable and its to much cost for me and hustle cause i need to wait 5 days before they can repair my phone..
