can somebody help me by giving step by step on how to set up the above, i have tried but error message "connection from SGH-i900 has been denied". Please help! THanks.
If you have successful bluetooth connection then try to connect your phone first to the internet, from then it will just use the internet sharing of the i900, when you are in sync thru bluetooth it should work. when the phone is connected to the internet and with i900 internet sharing your computer or laptop can use i900 as the modem or use the internet connetion of the i900 to connect to the internet.
I am interested in buying cell phone online. But I do not know the phone can be used compatible with our mobile service. I am from USA.
Tri band phone is ok? I am freshman of this. I hope anyone can help me. And please kindly let me know the difference among qual band, triband and quad band. Thanks

How to use pc internet connection to surf net on my omnia
Hi, all
i was wondering how to surf net on omnia using pc internet connection.. I have a pc with broadband connection.. i dont have a wifi router so i want to use internet on my omnia using bluetooth connection from the pc... Is there any software i can use??

This is how I got the Samsung Omnia SGi900 to work via bluetooth. Hope it helps.
To Connect :-
1) Plug in the Bluetooth USB Device in laptop
2) On Samsung Omnia do the following –
a. Click Start, Programs and select Internet Sharing
b. Make sure the PC Connection is set to Bluetooth PAN
c. Make sure the Network Connection is set to Vodafone WAP
d. Click Connect at bottom of screen
e. Check status at top of screen – it should say “Device Setup Finished”
3) Go to the Bluetooth Icon (next to time on desktop at bottom right)
4) Right click on the Bluetooth Icon (blue icon about 2nd from right)
5) Click on “Join a Personal Area Network”
6) Select SGH-i900 (Andre’s Cell) and click on the Connect button
7) It should connect immediately
8) Open Internet Explorer
To Disconnect:-
9) On Samsumg Omnia do the following –
a. Click Start, Programs and select Internet Sharing
b. Click Disconnect at bottom of screen
c. Click the X to close the screen (twice)
10) In the Personal Area Network screen click Disconnect
11) Remove the Bluetooth USB Device from the laptop
I got a mobile phone connecting to GPRS (with service plans) and i hope to get my Samsung i900 to connect to it for surfing net. Any ideas how to go about doing it ?
I tried to connect the Samsung to the mobile via bluetooth but it only has dial up networking function...
