this phone looks good, but what a piece of junk. I wont get texts untill the next day. and it fresses up and you have to take the battery out. it has a delay when answering the phone. big pile of garbage.
The software in the phone is JACKED! My ringtones just stop. All of a sudden, I notice I haven't been getting calls, texts, voicemail notifications, etc. and the darn sounds don't work! I have to turn it off, take the battery out, and wait a minute, then restart. Then, the ringtones are all reset to default and I have to change them again. This has happened one a month since I got the thing! Also, drops calls when I get a text or call waiting alert ALL the time, and the battery just goes from full charge to dead in a minute! I'm taking it back tomorrow to get another phone or something. Motorola JUNK!!!!!
Junk Junk Junk, I have had 2 in the last 3 months. The phone freezes, does not hold battery life. The other broke up so bad the other person couldn't hear me on speaker. Don't get it. It wont last even a month.
This phone is cumbersome and anti-user friendly in just about every way. Finally, it froze, i took out the battery, and now phone book, texting ability, and menu are inoperable. software on this phone is terrible.

I got mine about six months ago. i don't like getting phones for other utilities, if i wanted to take great pics i'd get a camera, if i wanted to surf the web, a computer.
all i need in a phone is to be able to send and receive calls/texts. the calc and clock are essential as well.
i've had no problems with any of the above mentioned issues
so if you're lookin for an amazing bond gadget, don't get it.
if ya want a phone that does what its supposed to and a lil durability, get this.

My phone is good but the little piece of crap went to a white screen them I had to get a new phone and I have it now and a few hours ago it went to a BLACK screen!?!?!?!?!? White then black... Makes no sence
see if you have the updated software for it (FLEX-W450-A0-0F)
it helped a lot in operations and loseing ring tones
I had the same problems before i up dated the soft ware
but it is behaving much beter now that i have updated it
No question about it, the W450, even with the updated software, is definitely not a handset anyone should touch; enough down-side to fill a book! If you got your 450 through T-Mobile, (they are in GSM mode), and you keep on top of them, they'll try their best to make things right depending on when you bought it. The real problem, as I see it, is in Motorola itself. Once first-rate; now third-rate. They manufacture in China. Couldn't give a damn about their products or those who purchase them. Trading only on their name to those who do not know any better.

During the up date my battery died and now my phone it not start.The screen is gray and the phone during any second on.
