hi,
i bought this phone in england on my 3 contract and had it unlocked. used it for a few days on t-mobile uk, everything was working fine. since i came over here (california) the phone hasn't found a signal and says 'no plmn' when i try to manually find a network. i've tried it with t-mobile usa and at&t sim cards. has anybody else had this problem or used the phone over here?

I know some carriers try to act smart by blocking IMEI number of phones that they don't have in their system. Try to call your carrier and see what they say.

i called t-mobile and went to the local store, they are basically saying tough luck.. if it's not on their system, they aren't going to look into it.
i'm going to try at&t tomorrow and have sent a few mails to LG (no reply so far)
i wonder if anyone has used this phone over here yet??

Im in Southern California and use At&t and I get signal. It does cut out from time to time but that is usually when I am driving. Hope that helps

network mode -->automatic or GSM ONLY
