Sony Ericsson Xperia 10 i noticed that when ever i make calls via X10. all the receipients were complaining that they could hear a sharp noise randomly at the backgund while talking. first i thought this was due to Netwrok (as i could not hear it thou). then i tried changing the SIM and Network also. then i realised that this is caused due to Handset (xperia x10) and not by SIM card.
I went to the service center and took the conversation recoding to them. they saw the issue and took a complaint. they tried various things and they replaced the Motherboard and gave me yesterday. 30Jun2010.
Since yesterday i see that the Noise emitted has increased as all the receipients are telling that they could hear some disturbance in the background while taking with me via X10 (thou i cannot hear the same).
Then i confronted with the service centre higher officials and asked them to see the issue. luckly during the call to the SE technical team they too heard the noise emitted by my Mobile hand set (X10). Till now i was thinking that this is a Unique case.
They also told me that this is the second case which has come to them with this problem. there is some problem with the handset itself. they have asked me for 48hr to resolve the issue as they have putforth the question to SE Technical team somewhere else.
This i am writing to let all Xperia X10 users to check with their friends weather while conversation via X10 do they hear some sharp noise (tuck tuck) at background. if yes take the handset with the recording of the conversation to nearist service center. but i really dont know what they will do about it.

Well looks like im not the only one with this problem. This is the only forum that is reporting this issue. Apparently not lots of ppl having this crackling muffled sound across the world. But clearly some of those phones got a bad batch or something.
Im with rogers canada and the phone was an upgrade from Rogers, and the first call i made from my x10 to my GF she told me that my voice is muffled with static and she cant hear me properly. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes the sound is muffled or started to get muffled during a conversation.
I past the 30 minutes talk time so i need to contact Sony Ericsson for a replacement or hoping the 2.1 update will cure this issue.

thank you for writing of this problem as i thought i was the only one with this, and it is caused by me moving my fingers on the phone during a call which causes the person im talking to hear a loud crack or hammer noise . it seems to me that the mic on the phone is so sensitive that it picks up the smallest of movements . just on my way to leave it with them to get a replacement nothing else will suffice and i will make sure to check the phone before i leave

Pomimo tego, ze wakacje zaczynaja sie dopiero za jakis czas juz teraz duza czesc z nas zastanawia sie gdzie mozna by je w tym roku spedzic. Jak co roku zreszta jest to bardzo powazny dylemat. Podróznicy staja przed wyborem czy lepiej pozostac w kraju i zaoszczedzic pieniadze, czy tez lepiej calkowicie poddac sie wakacyjnej euforii i wyjechac za granice i z wakacji wyniesc jak najwiecej wspanialych wspomnien ? To na jaka forme spedzenia urlopu sie zdecydujemy zalezy w duzej mierze od naszej osobowosci i podejscia do wielu spraw.
Spedzajac wakacje w kraju co prawda oszczedzamy troche, jednak narazamy sie na wiele nieprzyjemnosci. Po pierwsze Polska jest krajem, który slynie z kaprysów pogody. Spedzajac wakacje w naszym kraju nigdy nie mamy pewnosci czy bedziemy mieli okazje w pelni sie cieszyc urlopem dzieki swietnej pogodzie, czy przeciwnie - kiepska pogoda spowoduje, ze zostaniemy we wlasnym mieszkaniu. Tymczasem jesli za cel naszej podrózy wybierzemy Grecje, to druga opcje mozemy juz na samym poczatku calkowicie wykreslic.
Kraje takie jak Grecja przyciagaja turystów z calej Europy glównie ze wzgledu na super pogode. Nie mozna sobie wymarzyc lepszych warunków do spedzenia wakacji niz mozliwosc ciaglego wylegiwania sie na plazy podczas kiedy to cieple slonce bedzie poprawialo nasza opalenizne. Duza czesc podrózników przepada równiez za kapielami morskimi. Niestety jednak Baltyk jest na tyle kaprysny, ze moze zdarzyc sie tak, ze w czasie calego urlopu mozliwosc zazycia kapieli przytrafi nam sie zaledwie kilka razy.
