ringtones

I have had the Boulder for about a month. Love the phone but... I can't seem to change the ringtones. I use my phone in some loud locations and just want the basic obnoxious ring. I have called Verizon, and gone into their store. They will "show me" how to set the ringtone, and it will ring that way from their phones. I am not stupid (most of the time)and have used them from the days of pay by the minute, bag phones.
Most of my incoming have the stupid preset that I can't hear unless I am sitting at my desk. A few have the loud ring.
Do I have to manually set for every caller that calls in, or is their some secret to getting them all to ring the same, loud and obnoxious.

i connect the USB cable to the computer with my phone, but it says "connect failure". i downloaded the Vcast to my computer, but the phone just won't connect, what do i do?

you have to go to the sync in media menu before it will connect

You said to go to the sync . Does it cost then, do you have to get online? I cant figure this phone out! I cant get myxer to download ring tones either. I just want to get pictures of my computer and put on my phone and have tried to download some free music and can't get a connection.

when i call people with the keboard out they can hear me but i cant here them.

I have the phone, and I never have that problem. Could just be your phone, try calling Verizon.

when i turn my phone on and press the send button it attempts to call the number. then it says it is wrong. so i went online and i think i activated it there. but the phone still has the activation screen up saying it still has to be programed. what do i do ?
