my Nokia 5730 is only 2 months old and the data ribbon has snapped. the phone has been looked after.
Nokia have refused warranty claiming that it is due to 'wear & tear" which is rubbish
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their 5730?

I'm not sure what a data
I'm not sure what a data ribbon is, but I have been experiencing some problems with my 5730 which is only 2 months old.
First off, songs just disappear from the music player. I was told to refresh the library but that does nothing. Even after letting it run for 6 hours over night. The songs stay on the memory card but the only way I've been able to get them to play on the music player is to delete the songs and reinstall them.
Secondly I keep getting a message that I have to insert a memory card. I have to shut the power off and turn it back on to get it to register the card. The card that is in it came installed when I got the phone and I never took it out. In fact the only time it has been removed was...
Thirdly? I got the memory card meesage the other day and it turns out the memory card had come out. Even though it was covered by the rubber protecter and hadn't been dropped.
In addition to some other little problems like the numeric keys only inputting symbols while texting I have had the hardest time getting the NOKIA tech folks to talk to me. 2nd level doesn't call back after 4 or 5 times and when I finally got through to them I got a direct number that was an international number that I couldn't use.
Getting ready to switch to HTC I think.
