Google G1 is the first mobile phone that runs on Google’s Android open source mobile operating system. Developed by HTC, the maker of the popular HTC Touch phones (such as HTC Touch HD), the Google G1 represents Google’s first try to penetrate mobile phone industry. The G1 phone is equipped with a big touchscreen, just like iPhone, but doesn’t have multi-touch technology that iPhone has. The phone is integrated tightly with Google’s web services, including GMail, Google Search, Google Docs, and Google Maps. Unlike iPhone, the Google G1 has a full QWERTY keyboard that user could slide in and out. Although the G1 phone supports slower data network connectivity, it is optimized for high-speed 3G network. |

I have an iPhone and im pretty satisfied with it, but since I have T-Mobile I would rather have the G1, Honestly!! its like a Nokia N96 on the cheap ;)....it still lacks the iPhone-like music features and Graphic-User-Interface...but o well...buy a damn iPod Touch for that ;)

No TV output?? My iPhone has TV output, and I use it with my Sony HDTV to watch video clips on the big screen. That's disappointing.
I think I'll wait for the Google G2.

This phone is not that good!! They miss out a lot of features, such like: Front camera for 3G, FM Radio, Low resolution Camera,TV output, etc...
Just wonder, does it support majority video playback format, like Dvix, WMV, RM, RMVB, AVI, MPEG,etc.
And Wonder, can the phone browser support all facebook's games..
Ha. Seem like this phone is not right for me now, will wait for G2...

many of you say it's just not as good as the iPhone... And I agree but if you think about the service prices and that the appstore on it has no app limitation it's a great phone

I recived this phone on the 21st I am currently writting this reveiw from it and I have to say it blows the iphone out of the water. The internet is beautiful, and everything on the phone flows with ease. The android market is so cool and It will only get better. Hands down phone of the future well worth the price buy this phone.

You have to plug it to your computer. iI use windows media. So I just sync the songs that way. Hope the info helps enjoy your phone. I love it!!!!

I've been impressed with the g1. Its a great set-up. Kool free apps, and I love the physical keyboard! Just still trying to figure how to download music from my pc to the g1.

I must say that this is simply the best phone ever! I to am using to write this review. The feature are wonderful and I must agree that everything flows so feely and the store for apps, games, and music is great! Its a must have.

When I had my lx I would make a folder onto my removeable disk but when I go to my computer it doesn't read it??? If n e one can please help

u have to use the usb cable, then when its link onto the comp, you click on menu and then notifications and a folder will pop up on ur comp screen, then drag whatever music you like onto the folder
