LG Arena, also known as LG KM900, is a mid-level quad-band GSM touch phone. The Arena phone has a 3.0-inch WVGA LCD touchscreen that is powered by LG’s S-Class 3D user interface. I have just picked up my LG Arena, what a piece of kit. The ultimate in current mobile devices, stunning looks and operation. This phone is the iphone beater by far! approved.

You can buy an new unlocked Arena on eBay for £200 - £250, in the shops usually just shy of £400.
Had mine over a week now and here are my early impressions. The spec list is impressive, it seems to have absolutely everything on it. But, it's not really that custumisable. What comes out of the box is pretty much what you're stuck with, unlike a Windows Mobile or an iPhone. At first it is an incredibly annoying device to use. The touch interface isn't that sensitive and all those specs mean that the phone is prone to lagging and even crashes. Mine crashed 3 times today. Once you get use to the lag and having to really focus on where you put your fingers it gets to be less annoying to use.
It does everything fairly well but nothing brilliantly. It's a great phone for those that want the features but don't want to tinker and add to their phones. But the average touch and lag make it really quite average.
The guy that said it's an iPhone killer is an idiot. It isn't, not by a very long shot, especially because of the average user experience.

Don't compare this phone with an iphone, an apple is an apple and is not a 'candybar' if you want to compare, then take any lg phone and then compare. you'll know this is the best LG phone!! i have it and it does erything i expect from it, sure there are minoritys, but every phone has it.
the best things about are for my part
- wifi
- camera/photos very fair for a mobile
- great sound/usable as a mp3
- intern storage 8gb + xtra(8-16)=24gb
- the looks oh baby ;)

i have this phone over a week and this phone really nice and look a like an iphone while in my country one iphone it costed over 9 million in rupiahs and in dollars maybe $900. it's really expensive for a phone with only 8gb for internal. that's why i choose LG, but not bad for a phone look like an iphone but for beat the iphone. i think is not yet. but so far more i think to try not compare the iphone, more i like and more i love the LG.

The only issue i am facing this phone . Battery very badly losing charge even we charge two times a day we can't manage.
So i don't recommend for this phone.

Music player is not great! From a long list of music files it is difficult to get to those down the alphabet list e.g r -unlike the iPhone where you can easily bypass files by tapping near r. The search function only works for some files! I still cant find the GPS function. Does anyone know how to get around these problems?
