LG Rhythm is a slider phone that is designed to replace standalone MP3 digital music player. The Rhythm phone, also known as LG AX585, has completed mp3 music player features, including a 1.1-inch circular LCD touch-sensitive screen for navigation. Plus, the Rhythm phone also has 3.5mm headphone jack for users to plug-in their favorite noise-cancelling headsets, and a microSD memory expansion slot for users to load as many songs as they want. Other features of the phone include GPS navigation system, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, and an ignorable 1.3-megapixel digital camera / camcorder.

Good phone but take a few seconds for lights to come on after sliding open and slider doesnt work too well. Had the phone for about a week and a half and already having a few problems. Great for music playing with the FM transmitter.

I just got the phone and I had to take it in a get a new one only because the earpiece wouldn't go up to 5 until a couple seconds after clicking it. I got the same phone again and the same problem is occuring but otherwise i reccomend it to all my friends. about a 4:10 ratio of people have it. I absolutely love it. The slider works awesome and alltel doesn't allow ringtones but us cellular does.

get yourself a micro usb cable and bitpim or data pilot for your phone. ringtones no problem. The reason you cant put them on regulary is because they must be in your ringtone file. Alltell and other companies lock this folder to the ringtones that come on the phone. Data pilot and bitpim will allow you to write to this file. If you have any problems check howardforums. A great source for all your cellphone needs.

i can't ever seem to get my fm transmitter to work.. i know where it is i have had the phone for almost a year but how do you do it?

this is a good phone but the only thing that sucks is you cant upload free ringtones on this phone. i guess because of the mp3 player on it. alltel has blocked it where u can't download ringtones. and also i use this phone alot and i had to replace my battery after a month. but other than that its a good phone. the touch sensitive can get aggrivating when u are on the phone but once u get used to it its ok.

well i have this phone and it is good but i hate that i cant get free ringtones i have the pink one and it is so cute kuz it has like aligator skin and a built in design

i have this phone, and i hate it! the touch buttons dont work half the time, and when they do they have a mind of their own. a lot of times i will try to go into messages and end up in music (which it deletes when it feels like it, by the way)
it also randomly shuts off when it feels like it as well. and says that i have no contacts to put into a text message. also not a good phone for somebody who texts a lot. it takes forever to load what your typing, and you dont get your messages half of the time. or your calls.
SAVE YOURSELVES FROM THIS PHONE!

Good phone, But has anyone figured out how to make it play music in the order of the album instead of in alphabetical? For being a "music phone" you would think something that simple would have been figured out. Hell my $30 sansa clip can do that.

you cant do that, i know is sucks, i love my lg rhythm, but im only having problems connecting it to my computer, i cant get my comp to recognize my phone, and the usb is the one from my charger...i dunno

i have had my rhythm every since november and it hasn't given me no problems at all. the only thing i hate about this phone is how the silver paint on the side chips off.

I've had this phone for about a month and like it. I have noticed that I can't use it outside very well. If there's any wind it interferes with me being able to hear who I'm speaking to. And it's pretty windy in Kansas!
One noticably missing feature is the ability to put the phone on silent or vibrate temporarily, like when I'm in a meeting or church. I have to shut it off.

You can put your phone on vibrate by lowering the volume all the way until the screen says "Vibrate Only".

I love this phone so much. I've had no problem at all. The only thing is that you can't put very long mp4 videos or the video color starts to mess up. Either way, it's the best phone I've ever had!

well ii have had this phone for a good 3months and ii love it all my friends seem to complemaint me telling me how they wished they had my phone.And ii have tons of music in it ii got about 263 songs on it with a 4gb memory card and the way you put music in it is buy a bluetooth from best buy for your computer!then bluetooth as many songs from lime wire as you wantt thats what ii did itsz free just use bluetooth from your computer to your phone:) itt worksz for mee*but this phone is recommended its really goodd mines is from u.s cellular and the music transmitter is awesome:]

i've had my phone for about 4 months and i love it i've only had one problem with it and it was minor i could fix it myself.... i only hate that i cant ever have it on just silent that the vibrates on with it to but i'll get over it

I really like my phone with the exception of not being able to connect it to my computer. I was reading about needing to get bitpim and/or data pilot for my computer to recognize my phone. Where do i get that from? I've think i foud the bitpim but it doesnt have my phone listed and if my computer doesnt communicate with my phone then how do i get it transferred to my phone if necessary?
