Enable installation of non-market apps on the phone.
Settings → Applications → Check "unknown sources" - 3
Download and install "Linda file manager" in the android marketplace.

Open Linda file manager, navigate to your SD card and install youtube.apk

There is different way to install applications (.apk files) via the SD card.
Connect the i1 phone to your computer. - 6
Make sure the phone is in USB mode "Memory Card": Settings → USB → Memory Card

Copy the .apk file into the "apps" folder.

Disconnect from your computer.

Run the Setup wizard (found in your applications tray).

The Setup wizard has a step to install applications.
You should be able to install any .apk this way.
