Poor signal quality, no battery life, no direct connect, no Sprint NFL mobile, lots of dropped calls. The only thing that is decent about this phone is the sprint network, but you'd better stay off it unless you're plugged into the charger at all times. I'd give it less than an hour of talk time, and if you use the web or sprint tv, you'll go from a full charge to zero battery in about 35 minutes. The battery life and signal strength/quality on this phone is so bad that I'm actually downgrading back to my old Nextel phone (which is two years old).

Great phone except the battery doesn't last long at all. The battery life is between 4-6 hours if you don't use it at all. Much shorter if you use the GPS, TV or any of the other advanced features. I have to carry my phone charger at all times and continuously charge the phone when not in use to ensure it works when needed. Motorola should contact all the owners of the current phones and design a replacement battery that can last at least a full shift at work. The current battery will not. I do like the phones features however I am extremely unhappy with the battery life problems. I can only hope Motorola see's the flaws in the phones battery, does the right thing by the owners of the phones, develops a better replacement battery and gets them out to the owners. FREE OF CHARGE OF COURSE.

The battery in this phone sucks! And this is False advertising by SPRINT! The battery in the V950 is the same battery MOTOROLA had trouble with in its RAZOR.
It was knowingly underpowered then and is totally unacceptable now!
Let SPRINT know this is a fixable problem in an otherwise great phone!
Then maybe they will stop SELLING us the fix to there screwup

Double mega-dittos on all of the battery-life comments...Battery life sucks! The car charger I purchased when I got the phone in July no longer works either. It worked good for a few months, then the connection started getting loose...Then you had to leave it a certain way strategically positioned on the seat to maintain contact with the terminals (no way could you talk with it connected) and now unless you're standing on your head holding 90 pounds of pressure with the connection into the charger slot you're outta luck! Hopefully SPRINT will do something to resolve the battery life issues on an otherwise OK phone.. I'm almost to the point of downgrading to my OLD nextel phone that is upwards of three years old just to get through a shift at work without the phone failing...Oh, and if you're out in the cold weather...forget battery life altogether!

Great phone!! I'm in the Army, and I treat my phone like I treat my women.. bang em on hard surfaces and dropping em. Seriously.. Rugged. Battery life is directly lnked to the amount of BS features you enable on the phone, ie. blue tooth, lights, bells, whistles. My battery lasted more than 3 days with all the unnecessary crap! less than a day with them on!
