Motorola Rival, also know as Motorola A455, is an affordable messaging phone, which is designed to compete with LG enV series messaging phones. Like enV phones, the Motorola Rival also has a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. The phone runs on CDMA network, and was released primarily for Verizon Wireless in United States. It supports EVDO data network, which is the “3G” network of Verizon Wireless. Features of the phone include a 2-megapixel digital camera, MP3 music player, 3.5mm headset jack, and stereo Bluetooth connectivity. The Rival phone is corporate email capable, supporting synchronization of calendar, contacts and email with Exchange 2003 or 2007.

I've had A LOT of phones in the past, and yet all of them have been better than the rival.
All it does is freeze, and the only way to fix it it to factory reset the phone... losing EVERYTHING!
I've only had the phone for a few months and its already happened to me more than twice..
You cannot upload your own ringtones (although this may be a telus issue), the battery life is everything but amazing, and the phone reboots itself all the time.
Yes, it may look cool. But it is sooooo annoying!

ive been wanting this phone since the beggeining of summer and in 3 weeks or less it will be mine omg i cant wait cuz the motorola rival will be mine it has a full qwerty keyboard, a touch screen 2.0 mega pixel camera and vedio recorder w/ no flash,a 3.5 mm head jack, small but centric /rectangular phone that in my opinion is one HELL of a phone

I've had this phone for a few months and loved it at first but eventually, it began to freeze constantly. The buttons wouldn't work and it automatically shuts off occassionally. Now, it only turns on when I charge it. It may look amazing, but it's really not that great. Needless to see, i'm getting a new phone as soon as possible.
