i love this phone!! all my friends said that it looked ugly and that it broke easilly. i have had this phone for a month or more and i love it. even if you drop it alot and stuff it gets a couple scratches but nothing bad happens. this phone is really amazing

Neither does mine! I have to take it off (which takes no effort at all, because it keeps falling off) and try to snap it back on, but time after time it falls off. Is there a solution to this?

Not all together happy with this phone. There are several issues I've had in less than a week since I got the phone. 1). It is advertised as having voice dialing and voice commands and it does not per Pantech but the AT&T advertisement says it does. It is not easily compatible with the Ford Sync system either. 2). The battery runs down rather quickly and it needs to re recharged frequently. 3). The user manual is not at all helpful and I have had to call Pantech several times already. As to the question about ringtone length, I had to call Pantech about that and it appears that you have to use ringtones in mp3 format and they can not be any longer than 270 kbytes which you need to know before you buy a ringtone and try to put it on your phone. But you won't know that until you call Pantech. 4). It is not the easiest phone to learn and is not exactly what I would call user friendly.There are some features which I do like: 1). Touch screen on the cover. 2). Qwerty keyboard for easy texting. 3). Large screen which is easier to see. I like the look of it but will try it for another week and will then make my final decision.

its a really good phone,the only problem i am having is with the message alert tone.i have it set to where it should play a song that is 40 seconds long(156.6kb) but it only plays for about 3 seconds..does anyone know how i can fix that?

I suggest buying a clear case to go on it. I have one on mine and have had no problem with it. The only problem i am having is setting a customized alert tone for my txting... can anyone help?

I'm in the same boat as some other people. Trying to figure out how to make the text message tone go longer. My file is MP3 and only 96 KB so it's not an issue setting it. It just won't play the full 7 seconds.
Also, I haven't had an issue with the back cover not staying on yet. I just popped it on and it stayed. Could your battery cover not be fully in? That could be popping out enough to push the clear case off.

This phone is fantastic! I just got it today and I am already intrigued. The clamshell style is fantastic if you have AT@T but love the EnV phones from Verizon. Fingerprints on the touchscreen is a little bit of an issue, but not much. I find so many things about this phone great. Changing the color theme is also great if you want a little variety. Overall great phone.

I loved this phone for a day, but it's worthless to me because the back cover doesn't fit and AT&T won't replace it. They say to send the phone back for exchange but I see by these comments that isn't going to help. Design flaw. Oh well...can't have everything.

Yep it sure is maddening the battery cover plate is defective and doesn't snap onto the phone. I see that many others have had this problem also. I just got this phone in the mail today from ATT because I had tried three separate LG Neons and all of them were defective (phone shut off occasionally when I shut the slider and vibrated randomly when plugged into the charger). This is the fourth phone I've tried with ATT and yet again---no luck. I am beyond angry. If anyone has a solution, please e-mail me: Liziztheword@hotmail.com.
