The one thing that this phone doesn't do is so simple and assumed by everyone with a cellphone that I'm going to return this phone. The outside screen display, the one that you look at as you take it out of your pocket, doesn't work unless you have an incoming phone call. You can't pull it out and see how many bars of service you have. You have to flip it open. You can't pull it out to check the time of day. You have to flip it open. You can't pull it out to check on the battery level. You have to flip it open. How stupid is that?

Thank you! This phone has driven me crazy for three months and even the US Cellular rep didn'y know the answer! I'm a teacher and when I want to check the time at recess the kids all see me flipping and want to see my phone. Thanks again.

Cannot find ringtones "FREE" ones online ANYWHERE! I have US Cellular, and the only way you can get WAV or MP3 ringtones is through US Cellular's "TONEROOM" and of course you have to buy credits. For only ONE RINGTONE...$2.99.
Granted I have had this "Axel R 311" for almost a month. So, at "Toneroom" I have gotten 3 ringtones FREE. A tiger calling, The old time sound for halloween with an organ, and just today a turkey gobble. WOW!
Not pleased because of this. Any other phone, you can go to Phonezoo.com, Zedge, plenty of all other FREE ringtone sites...even the techs don't understand it.

i got this phone for my birthday and i love it i figured out the tricks to it...hold the side key for 2 seconds and the front screan will turn on and show you the time, day, month, bars of service, ringer type,battiery power Ect... for more tricks go to www.justkids.club.officelive.com
