Samsung Propel is a multimedia slider phone that comes equipped with a full QWERTY keypad. The greatest feature of the Samsung Propel is its support for AT&T's high-speed 3G HSDPA network, which provide faster Internet connection and email synchronization. Features of the Propel phone include built-in GPS navigation system (AT&T Navigator), MP3 music player that supports AT&T Mobile Music for full-length track downloads, Video player with streaming video support, and Video Share for two-way video calls.

It is quite disappointing to see that the Samsung Propel comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel digital camera / camcorder, which isn’t sufficient to take high quality pictures / videos.

I've had my propel for about 3 weeks. Texting is easy...as long as you have small fingers. It took me a couple of days to adjust to the QWERTY keyboard vs. the numbered key pads I was used to on my RAZR. The full keyboard is nice, but the keys are small...so guys, sorry but you probably won't like it as well as us chicks.I love the sliding and it will lock as soon as you close it. So far I haven't made any calls from my pocket or purse. I love the internet features. I am still experimenting trying to download music to use the MP3 player. Battery lasts about 8 hours using it pretty continously. If only occassional use, lasts a couple of days. I downloaded several games and my kids (6 & 3) can find and play them easily. The camera takes decent pictures, but I hate that you can't do self portraits because you can't see yourself. You can easily set the phone to silent which works well running in and out of work.

I was actually surprised at the quality of the pictures. I wasn't expecting that much fro a 1.3 megapixel.

The picture viewer on the phone is pretty lame, though. I wish it were easier to preview pictures in fullscreen mode, instead of the tiny thumbnails you get.

im trying to use the mp3, and im having great difficulty with it. the instructions say that " using media player you can sunchronize music files between a memory card in your phone and windows media player using a usb cable" ... i have media player, and i have a usb cord, so i plugged it in, and it just says insert a memory card .. but the instructinos say that theres one built in. So im therefor confused. If anyone could help me that would be perfect :)

I LOVE this phone. I had a blackjack II that was pretty good itself but I didnt want the extra bills that come with a smartphone. This does all the same stuff for cheaper. I really LOVE this phone.

I love this phone! Only had it for 2 days and still kinda gettin' adjusted to it, but I like the full keyboard eventhough I do sometimes hit a wrong key. It's alot easier than hitting a key three or four times just to get 1 letter on text.

-1 votes I Really adore my samsung

3

I Really adore my samsung propel,it's very convient for those who enjoy doing multiple things at one as i do such as: searching the web while listening to music on the music player, and texting. it has a really good sized player and has lots of memory itself without the use of the card,, i do however hate the fact that all of my ringtones are inside of my music player mixed throughout my music,, that can be really annoying. Overall i really do like it.

I can't find any software after buying the usb cord separately. Can't get anything off of my phone and onto my pc. Other than that, I like it

0 vote I agree. This phone was so

I agree. This phone was so cute, but I'm very disappointed in using it. Can't upload photos with a USB, tried sending them via email and still can't open them. Get a message saying unrecognized format. This phone isn't worth the trouble no matter how nice looking the red and white color looks.

This phone's alright, getting used to the keyboard was no problem. I was confused about uploading photos at first, but if you have internet on your phone you can send them via snapfish and download them to your computer from the website. It's a little annoying, but I don't use my camera that much anyway. The mp3 was easy, I just bought a 4 gig MicroSD for 15 bucks and went from there, but I did have one problem. This phone fails to let you set anything as a ringtone besides the ones that come with it and recorded audio from the phone... I tried converting and all that, no help at all. I'm really stuck on this. And yes, I'm too cheap to go and buy a ringtone cause last time I tried that the same problem happened. Overall, this phone is ok if you're looking for a basic phone with ok qualities. Me, I would have perfered a more advanced phone like a Blackberry Curve or something. Either way, I don't know if the problem affects everyone or just my phone.
