Samsung Sway, also known as SCH-U650, is an entry-level slider CDMA phone for budget-conscious consumers. Released for Verizon Wireless, the Samsung Sway has basic mobile phone features and specifications, and users should expect to get advanced features from the Sway phone. So I was really excited when I got this phone and I loved it but after about a week I noticed the battery did not even last for a full 24hrs. I would go to sleep with three bars because I had to charge it during the day and it would die overnight without me even touching it. I finally was able to get it switched out after the screen went out on me on two phones so I told them I needed a different phone that had a good battery and they did after a good 5 trips to the store.

A lot of people have been having this issue, and I got mine two months ago as well without looking up reviews for the Samsung Sway.
However, after removing the battery from the phone and replacing it several times, the battery life has improved dramatically. Rather than charging every day, I can leave it uncharged for 7-9 days now.
I believe this is a result of a slight manufacturing problem. Perhaps the battery wasn't properly inserted, which resulted in poor battery life.
It's been about a month and a half since it was readjusted and it works like a charm.
