"Sim not Ready"

I just have my kc910, i inserted my sim card and i can not see my contact list, and when i tried to copy contacts to phone it said "Sim Not Ready"
So i can not see my contact list from the sim.

I have just bought KC910 and finding it hard to sort things out. I have managed after alot of hard work to get two songs on my phone from my comp and want to use one of these songs as my ring tone but cant see how to do it
Also how do i download my pics on my phone to the com

kc910 not working in the usa??

hi,
i bought this phone in england on my 3 contract and had it unlocked. used it for a few days on t-mobile uk, everything was working fine. since i came over here (california) the phone hasn't found a signal and says 'no plmn' when i try to manually find a network. i've tried it with t-mobile usa and at&t sim cards. has anybody else had this problem or used the phone over here?
hope i haven't wasted my money
